Save the Date Saturday, October 1st – Fall Festival

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             The big event is three short weeks away today! As we settle into what is the end of the first week of school for those of us with kids, it reminds us that Fall is approaching soon. Our weather a few days last week reminded us that as well as we put on long sleeved shirts and jeans again.

Our office entry is filling up with donations for the CAP Agency, benefiting Dakota, Scott and Carver Counties. A growing stack of food, toys and gently used winter clothing items are a welcomed sight for me as I enter and exit our Cornerstone Mortgage office each day. We will continue to collect these items during regular business hours from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in our Burnsville Cornerstone Mortgage Company location at 436 Gateway Blvd. through October 1st when we host our 7th Annual Fall Festival. While the kids and adults enjoy the festivities, our Cornerstone Mortgage team will FILL THAT CAP AGENCY TRUCK!

The arrangements are in place for a fantastic afternoon of food and drink, games of chance, pony rides, petting zoo, moonwalks, face painting, pumpkin painting and some fantastic drawing items have come in the door already.

Kids come for the ponies, moonwalks and the petting zoo; adults come to win prizes and enjoy some food and good laughs throughout the afternoon. I’ve even caught a few adults making their own pumpkin masterpieces and I must admit; it’s hard to not take a jump or two in the moonwalk. It’s fun to take a little time out and connect with the kid inside!
