It’s in these Dog Days of summer when we, as Minnesotans’ appear to forget what looms around the corner. We tend to complain about the heat this time of year. But, you know what I’m talking about right? It’s coming soon enough…
Fall in Minnesota will be here in the blink of any eye and those of us with kids will be sending them back to school, the hours of daylight will start getting shorter and we will start preparing for the winter ahead. No, I’m not into being a killjoy. Quite the opposite!
Please do me, and your fellow Minnesotans’ who need a little extra help this year, a small favor. Mark your calendars for our Cornerstone Mortgage Company of Burnsville 7th Annual Fall Festival.
We will be supporting our local Dakota County CAP Agency as we at Cornerstone Mortgage Company have each year by collecting gently used winter clothing items and non-perishable food items for the CAP Agency Food Shelf in Dakota County.
As you clean out your closets in August for upcoming sports and school shopping trips, set aside last year’s items to bring to our Festival!

This event has always been a great time for families and friends to gather and have some fun! Grab the kids, or your neighbors kids, and bring them over for Pumpkin Painting, Moonwalks, Pony Rides, A Petting Zoo, Games of Chance and our old-timers favorite drawings.
We believe in supporting our community and giving back to those who do business with us at Cornerstone Mortgage Company. Throughout the year, we support local Charities by giving back a portion of what we earn to A Race Worth Winning/ALS, SpareKey and our local Dakota County CAP Agency. Each of these non-profit entities in near and dear to our hearts due to personal circumstances that connected us to them and lead us now to continue to give back to them today.
